There is much to consider here, as everything like this circumstance can only end as disaster. Now of course there are the negatives, a creepy peeping tom making paranoid people justifiably paranoid. They can see every dystopian Wonderworld; tattooed markings exposing our social class; chips planted inside our brains. It is finally not impossible, this mad science oppression. But the truth is that about most people no one really cares. Like a cold-calling sales script, they quickly hang up.

Of course you mentioned a significant invention. The baby monitor, in those rare, horrible instances, can save a person’s life. Step monitoring (smart phones versus the earlier fitbit. This growing menace of surveillance replacing a primitive abacus, a worthwhile thing for those monitoring their health.

Most of our chatter resembles this, although in shorter bursts, sneering at people on facebook; being an asshole on Twitter. Name calling, “happy birthday" to friends we don’t know. People get their news from stupid slogans and rants. People get angry when some slice-and-dice lingual provocuer succeeds in offending. Social media has become a far different poison, although that is a dialogue for a different topic.

Great, informative, concise and interesting piece. Excellent work.
